Reggie Parker, MS, LPC, is a Resilience and Call Mastery Instructor and Consultant with expertise in crisis communications, crisis intervention training, and de-escalation skills.
 
Reggie is a retired Police Sergeant with 32 years of service in law enforcement. He serves as the Behavioral Health Coordinator for the City of Hoover, Alabama. His extensive experience in law enforcement helped him develop a diverse skill set that includes training, negotiation, team leadership, and counseling. As a Certified Hostage Negotiator, he previously led the Crisis Negotiation Team before retiring as a Detective Sergeant in October 2021. In addition to his law enforcement responsibilities, Reggie has contributed to the profession by instructing for the National Association of School Resource Officers, helping officers transition from street work to school environments.
 
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Reggie works directly with first-responders and trauma clients, leveraging his mental health expertise to enhance his practice. He earned his Master of Science degree in Community Agency Counseling from Jacksonville State University in 2011, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Corrections from the same institution, which he completed in 1994
